After participating in 100×100, an online speed dating event in which 100 CEOs talked to 100 young potentials, Khadija Nadi shares her insights on starting a career and making it all the way to CEO at DeltaQ in an interview with VOKA (Vlaams Netwerk van Ondernemingen) The interview (in Dutch) was published on 17th of February 2021.
In the interview, Khadija elaborates on building a company culture, the importance of diversity, and out-of-the-box recruitment strategies.
“What matters most to us is the drive people have. We are a purpose-driven company: we want to have a positive influence on the climate problem through our software that reduces CO2 and energy in buildings. When we recruit people, competencies are of course important, but we also very much screen for the impact they want to leave behind, the stone they want to move. People who are driven by it will also think in the long term and therefore make different and better decisions.”
